Illinois Press Association Awards

Congratulations to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin for winning awards at the Illinois Press Association convention last week.

Jennifer Jenkins captured third place in the Best Ad Designer category. Jennifer also took second place in the best static online ad category for the Chicago Attorney Motorcyclists ad.

On the editorial side, Editor Marc Karlinsky took first place for Best Headline package. The headlines included: “No dice for Cook County gambling tax opponents,” “Mirror, mirror on the wall, can I sue when you fall?”, “For once, a long streak the Cubs like,” “Lawyer’s work in Turkey makes gravy,” and “The great plate debate.” In the Best Feature Writing category, Jamie Loo took second place for her feature “A Clean Start” and Jack Silverstein received an honorable mention for his story “24/7 for 20 years.”
