Ethics 2024
Complete your ethics requirements (6 PMCLE) through our in-person and streaming annual Ethics Conference featuring leadership from the Illinois ARDC, the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, the Lawyers’ Assistance Program and other experts in lawyer conduct and professionalism. The 2024 Ethics program will include trending topics such as how AI can help and hurt your practice, mental health challenges for attorneys, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the legal community.
The AI segment will address how attorneys across practice areas are navigating disclosure and competency obligations when deploying automated tools for client work. Practitioners advising fintech firms, the best offshore betting sites operators, and telehealth platforms have encountered novel conflicts-of-interest scenarios that existing ethics opinions do not fully address. Those gaps in guidance are part of what prompted the ARDC to expand its technology ethics programming for 2024.
Offered in two 3-hour sessions. Attend either program or both at a discount.
