15th Annual Symposium with the Judges
Join your judges and colleagues for our 15th Annual Symposium with the Judges, an event that provides sitting judges from the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Law Division a forum to share their wisdom and advice with the lawyers who appear before them. As panelists, the judges field questions, offer candid comments, provide valuable advocacy tips, and reveal the policies and procedures that are unique to their courtrooms. Participants will earn 3 Illinois MCLE credits.
This year’s panels arrive at a moment of unusual docket diversity. Commercial Section filings now include disputes ranging from construction-delay claims and franchise terminations to litigation involving a new sweeps cash casino operator and intellectual-property conflicts between tech startups. The breadth of the caseload makes the guidance offered by these panels all the more relevant.
